　　Adele won two awards at the Brit Awards ceremony in London, which took place on 21 February 2012: best British female and best British album.

　　However, she was interrupted during her acceptance speech so that the final performers could be introduced. The audience booed as the speech was cut short and Adele made a rude hand gesture in protest. The organisers have now apologised to Adele.

　　英国当红歌星Adele 在二月二十一号英国音乐大奖颁奖仪式上获得两项大奖：最佳英国女歌星和最佳英国唱片。

　　颁奖现场时间紧迫，为了能介绍压轴戏，主办单位在Adele 接受大奖后向观众致词时打断了她的演讲。观众对此大大不满，以嘘声抗议，而Adele 也做了一个粗鲁的手势。之后主办单位向Adele 表示歉意。

　　短语 to steal the show 意思是在大庭广众之下抢镜头，出风头。
